From Friday 14 October 2022, it is no longer mandatory to isolate if you test positive to COVID-19.
The removal of mandatory isolation does not impact on the duties of an employer to do all that is reasonably practicable to minimise the risks of COVID-19 at the workplace, including asking workers to stay at home when unwell.

The Agriculture industry involves both the growing and cultivation of horticultural and other crops, and the controlled breeding, raising or farming of animals.
This may include:
- sheep, beef cattle and grain farming
- fruit and tree nut growing
- dairy cattle farming
- mushroom and vegetable growing
- nursery and floriculture production
- other crop growing
- poultry farming
- deer farming, and
- other livestock farming.
Workplaces range from large stations to small family farms, and may include grazing areas, fields for growing crops or dairy farms. Many agricultural workplaces are also a family home.
